Alice’s work is inspired by many periods from Medieval to Celtic to late 19th century. She is particularly moved by the organic and feminine qualities epitomized by Art Nouveau. Many of her pieces are influenced by the works of Gustav Klimt, Alphonse Mucha, and their contemporaries. Their artwork, and hers, capture the dreamy, elusive embodiment of femininity and power.
Alice is a Toronto-born Canadian living in the USA. She designs and
creates out of her home-based jeweler’s studio in sunny Atlanta,
Georgia. All the images featured in her jewelry are her original hand
drawn artwork. From the drawings to the metalwork, Alice does it all by
hand using traditional metalsmithing techniques such as etching,
forging, piercing, and soldering. Striving for a vintage and timeless
feel, she focuses on texture, layering, and contrast, crafting eclectic
styles that call to the wearer from another time and place.
Her pieces become artifacts, talismans imbued with her dreams. And, hopefully, yours.
