A peek inside the studio

Some people have asked me how I have my studio set up, so I thought I would post some pictures of where I make my jewelry (you can click on each picture to make it bigger):

My studio
My studio: I take up the brightest corner of my basement with my studio. I love this space.

My view while I work
My view while I work: I love the view of our wooded backyard. The leaves have just started to turn here in Atlanta.

My jewlers bench
My jewlers bench: Here's my jewelers bench. I wanted to show what it looks like in action, with tools and silver scattered about. It's so hard to stay neat and tidy when you make jewelry, but the pegboard and drawers on the left kind of help a little. The picture on the wall is of Brigid. She's the Celtic Goddess of inspiration and creativity. She's also the Goddess of metalsmiths :) I like having her in my studio with me.

Close up of my jewelers bench: Here's a very realistic depiction of what my work space looks like on any given day.

My office upstairs
My office upstairs: This is where the creative process begins for me. As you can see on my desk, right now I'm working on developing the rest of the alphabet for my Art Nouveau Initial Pendant series. All my printed silver jewelry starts off as a pen and ink drawing.
