Etsy Metal – I’m in!

Well, I can finally come out and announce it on my blog – I got in to Etsy Metal! I’ve been in since January, but they updated the website today to include new members (which is why I was waiting to blog about it).

Etsy Metal is a group of incredibly talented, amazingly supportive metalsmiths on Etsy. They only jury in new members twice a year and are very selective in the artists they choose.

To give you an idea of how talented these guys are, here are a few pieces from the group for you to drool over:

The thing about it is that I’m just so excited to finally belong to a community of jewelry artists, who are so unbelievably open and supportive and encouraging. It’s such a positive place to be!

My little ones

I could not resist posting this picture of my kitty and baby looking out the window together. Look closely at the second picture to see what’s got their attention :)

Inman Park Festival - I got in!

I just found out that I got accepted as a vendor for the upcoming Inman Park Festival - the biggest street festival in Atlanta. This is the first juried artist market that I've ever applied to and I'm so excited that I got in! The festival is happening April 26th and 27th and I’ve got a lot of work to do to get ready. I haven’t hit panic mode yet and I’m just trying to focus on building my inventory and getting my booth layout ready to go. My Etsy shop will be staying open, but I won’t be able to list any new pieces until after the festival.

Hope to see you there :)

It’s March 1st and that means Back to Work

I’m back! I decided during the Holidays that I’d take all of January and February off to have some time to myself. A kind of spontaneous sabbatical to regroup, recharge, and also focus on Baby Grace. So, February’s over and that means back to work for me.

Some great stuff has happened over the past few weeks, so check back soon to read up on all the good news.
