Two Enchanting Witches
Two enchanting witches on an ooky spooooky night
Sat upon a porch among pumpkins burning bright.
Mama Witch said, "Now it's time to have some fun.
Follow me, little apprentice, and I'll show you how it's done."
Wittle Witch said, "I am wedy for a tweat!"
So hand in hand they walked, like two shadows in the street.
From one house to the next, the two witches did beguile,
Inciting happy comments from the neighbors all a-smile.
What magical fun they had, the Wittle Witch, so excited.
To see her child so happy made the Mama feel delighted.
The cauldron overflowed with more treats than it could hold,
So homeward bound they turned before the night air got too cold.
And when the clock struck nine, it was time to go to bed.
Mama Witch leaned over and kissed her Sleepy-Head.
"I had fun with you tonight, Mama", the angelic witch did say.
"And I with you, my darling... tomorrow's another happy day."
