What's on the menu Monday - something yummy
I made some scrumptious treats for my friends who came over for coffee and conversation yesterday morning.
Cheddar dill scones, ready for the oven
Cheddar dill scones, ready for the tum
You can bake some, too. The recipe is right here.
What's on the menu this week? I've only got two days worth of dinners planned since we'll be out of town for Thanksgiving later in the week.
Tonight - Chicken pot pie
Tuesday - Roasted salmon with lentils
The rest of the week will probably be comprised of ham, turkey, ham, turkey, ham, turkey, turkey and ham. Mmm.

The scones look incredible! Your menu this week sounds much like mine.
HA...when I saw the first pic I thought "wow, those look a little slimy"...then I realized they were uncooked :) The "finished" batch look delish!!!
ok, i am mailing you a plate so that you can mail one back! looks so yummy!
So... if you're the only Luddite in the food world who doesn't have a mixer, can you make them with a hand-mixer or even, say, your hands?
All I need is cream, and I could be eating them tomorrow...
You guys are funny :)
Delilah, I'm sure you could make this with a hand mixer. With your bare hands though, I wouldn't recommend...
The KitchenAid mixer is my best inanimate friend. She's not cheap, but she's worth it (...ahem, Costco...)
